Using Nicksy

These terms govern your use of Nicksy, a wishlist and gift-planning service operated by Robolab LLC, a privately owned, for-profit software company. By using Nicksy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and obtain any permission required for your use. Use accurate account information, protect your email and sign-in links, and contact us if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.

Lists, gifts, and shop links

Nicksy lets you save products, organize lists, share ideas, collaborate, and indicate that you plan to get a gift. A gift claim records a user’s intention; it does not place an order, reserve retailer inventory, collect payment, or guarantee that a gift will arrive.

Purchases take place on independent retailers’ sites. Their prices, availability, shipping, returns, warranties, and terms apply. Check the retailer’s current information before buying. Saved prices, product matches, photos, and alerts may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Nicksy does not sell or ship the products on your lists.

We may earn a commission from some shop links. Product discovery, photo matching, alerts, Google sign-in, and texting depend on available third-party services and may not always be enabled.

Your content and other people

You keep the rights you have in content you submit. You give Robolab LLC permission to host, store, display, resize, and process that content as needed to provide Nicksy, including product matching, moderation, and sharing under your chosen settings. This permission does not give us ownership of your content.

Only submit content you have the right to use and share. Respect other people’s privacy, intellectual property, and choices. Do not post sensitive personal information about someone else, impersonate people, harass users, send spam, run scams, upload malicious material, or use Nicksy for unlawful activity. Do not bypass access controls, abuse automated requests, or disrupt the service.

Public content may be viewed or copied by others. Claim visibility depends on the list owner’s settings; do not assume a gift reservation will always remain anonymous to the owner.

Moderation and account access

We use automated moderation and human review to help enforce content rules and respond to reports. Content may be rejected, held for review, or removed. Moderation can make mistakes; contact nicksy@robolab.io if you need help with a decision.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. We may also change or discontinue features. Availability and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed.

Optional Nicksy SMS program

When texting is enabled, you can opt in by checking the separate SMS consent box in account settings and verifying a phone number you control. The program sends automated transactional messages from Nicksy, operated by Robolab LLC: verification codes, confirmations for products you ask to save, and instructions or error responses related to your requests. It does not send marketing texts.

• Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
• Cancel. Reply STOP to cancel messages. You may receive one final confirmation of your opt-out. Further messages require a new opt-in. Removing your number in account settings also disconnects it from text-to-save.
• Help. Reply HELP for help, email nicksy@robolab.io, or call 718-313-7707. This is our support telephone number; use the texting number shown in your account for product links and SMS keywords.
• Your number. Only enroll a number you control. Remove or update it before you give it up or it is reassigned.
• Availability. Texting depends on carrier support, registration, and delivery systems. Messages may be delayed or fail. Mobile carriers and Nicksy are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law. Do not use this service for emergencies.

We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Limited processing by messaging providers supports delivery and security of this program. See SMS privacy information.

Leaving or deleting your account

You can stop using Nicksy at any time. You can export your account data and request deletion in account settings. Deletion requires email confirmation to help protect your account.

Deletion removes the account and associated content as described in the retention and deletion section of our privacy policy. Content on someone else’s list, operational records, or backup copies may not be removed immediately or in the same way. Canceling SMS does not delete your account.

Service limitations

Nicksy is provided as available. We cannot promise that every product result, price, claim, notification, or moderation decision will be correct, that every message will arrive, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Robolab LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Nicksy or third-party retailers and services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Changes and questions

We may revise these terms as the service changes and will update the effective date shown here. Material changes may also be communicated through Nicksy or by email. Changes to these terms do not enroll you in SMS or replace any separate consent needed for a messaging program.
